GLAS NYC Celebrates Pride Day

Once again, a team of over 20 gay Arabs participated in the New York City gay pride parade. Pride celebration started earlier on Friday night as the group threw their annual "Habibi" party. According to organizers, over 750 people attented the party as local DJ IZ made sure everyone was dancing till early morning hours. This was by far the largest number of people to attend the annual events. The party, which is becoming an annual ritual for gay Arab Americans, drew people from as far away as Texas and California.

After all the dancing, the GLAS NYC team was ready to go at it again on Sunday as they were very well received on the Pride parade route. Marching down the trendy fifth avenue, the crowd applauded the marchers as Arabi dance music blasted from a sound system.

Congratulations to all who helped organize this tremendous event(s)... looking forward for next year.
